Hope to get some feedback on standard practice
I've been working on fixing someone's site that has a bunch of backend problems - the original webmaster is arguing that by deactivating plugins and themes to identify where the conflicts are coming from is making more work for them because they have to go back and setup the widgets every time.
on my sites this isn't an issue, but apparently on this site it is a problem.
Is it normal to have to go back and re-set widgets if the plugin has been deactivated/reactivated?
